Young Workers Network

YWN is a new initiative run by the Young Workers Resource Centre (YWRC) to engage with young Kiwis. We will regularly update YWN members with information about employment trends and issues, work-themed resources, and opportunities to win giveaways and attend events.

To be a YWN member you must be under the age of 35.

Getting involved with YWN is a great way to keep up-to-date with the world of employment and meet other awesome young working New Zealanders.

Objectives

• Grow youth engagement with the YWRC
• Provide a platform for young working Kiwis to have a greater voice in our communities
• Build young leaders within the network, workplaces and our communities
• Inform and educate members about issues relating to employment
• Influence policy, practice and public opinion on issues important to YWN members
• Evaluate the effectiveness of YWRC services through youth participation
